Lunch with my ex-colleague

My ex-colleague called me around 11.30am today, asked me to have lunch together.

We used to be very close friend and have not meeting each other for more than 2 months.
We met at KL and chat for less than an hour.
We all had resigned from Maybank and join other bank, all the while in banking industry.
We talk about our life recently.
We talk a bit about our future.
We ~~~

But... in actual fact, today is working day and we still need to work. So, we have to say bye-bye to each other and go back to work.

Really appreciate this friend. He is the one who talk to me and ask me for lunch when I joined the Bank, and we used to go out in pair... to toilet, have lunch, ...

Busy study

It has been 2 weeks, not slept well.

Study, study, and study..... But. Luckly, my wife still support me for my study. She look after our 2 kids, so that I can be more focus on my study.

I have created another blog - http://mysbit.blogspot.com. The main purpose is to maintain my study material, as well as keep all information up-to-date. So that my coursemate can have latest information for their reference. However, it is not easy to maintain the blog or what I would like to call it - Forum / portal for students in Malaysia who taken MSc SBIT. I have to work hard (double of my coursemate), coz I need to study and keep information up-to-date.

Recently, I sleep at 1 am on weekday. Weekend? sleep daytime, but studying whole night. This will continue until I've submitted my MSc paper - project specification (3rd October 2008). :(

Not working today, but not relaxing

If I didn't study now, I could have taken quite a number of annual leave. Just to have a rest, I am very tired, need a good rest for my life, my work, ....

I've applied leave earlier, but sad to say that my leave will only reserve for my "Master Study". Since this is part-time study and require our effort to download study material, then study and understand it. Attend online chat session with tutor at UK. Do assessment, submit test, etc. I don't really enjoy my leave :<

It's not easy for part time study

It's busy week for me. 23rd June was the "induction week" for my master study, but all my coursemate are having difficulty to login and to kick start for our study.

We've requested servicedesk to assist us on registration and id creation. Due to this is UK programme and there is no "local expertise" to guide us. We all had visited wrong website and could not get the informations we want. ie. timetable on when to online chat session with UK.

On 27th, I've received email from the University and guided me the correct way and steps to obtain those study material and course timetable. But it was too late - my coursemate and me had missed few sessions, everyone is tension, worry and busy on downloading documents after this.

My first note...

Today is very important to me. I've decided to start writing and put up my own notes.

I've created this blog 2 weeks ago, and posted few articles. But I was just "try an error" for the past 2 weeks, by "copy" and "paste" those attached document in my email.

Ever heard that people said. By expose to the blog or become a blogger, you are reveal your personal life and telling your story to the world. Well, for me.... I will try to utilise this to express my thoughts and feelings from time to time.

Anyway, I will post (copy) some good articles if I really found that it is good and worth for reading and sharing.
